Drama and puppets helped create characters in creative stories,
- Cubism (Art) and the Beauty in Maths,
- With wonder we explored how one geometrical shape connects Saturn and snow flakes and many more wonders
in nature
- We transported us back to the Vikings, played Kubb, learned the Runic Alphabet to make rune stones and
discovered that these stones can help us with all four mathematical operations in a fun way, and so did
frangipanis and the rainbow …
- Long jump on the beach made length measurements easy,
- Up-skilling herbal knowledge through Herbal Hunt game in the garden and a herbalist as guest
- Celebrating seasons and traditions l(solstices, Christmas)
- We included curriculum skills like presentation, different types of writing, book reviews, etc in a very
entertaining way
- We travelled with feet and fingers across the world map and did not spare time travel - as far back as
to the Hadean Eon - and on coming back we stopped at different geological periods, huge numbers were
connected to dinosaurs, ice ages, rock/ crystal formations which in turn brought us to Crystal Castle as
a nice concluding excursion
Truly, it is somehow magical how the concept of Integrative Learning creates a different learning experience.
