EUREKA in Action: Find out what we do.

EUREKA!MOMENTS: Join our happy hunt for sparkling learning experiences, creativity and inspiring ideas

EUREKA is a weekly workshop where children immerse into a shared joyful learning experience. It holistically engages heads, hearts and hands. Each workshop delves into intriguing life matters welcoming students’ interests and passions. It is held in a calm and quiet home atmosphere promoting focus and achievement. The group size is limited to 8 so that each participant can receive appropriate attention and support.

EUREKA ignites inspiration, imagination and interaction following the principles of Integrative Learning.

The pedagogical concept of Integrative Learning is widely promoted in northern European countries and has been proven beneficial for pursuing creativity and independent thinking in students of all age groups.

Integrative Learning focuses on the learner's enrichment and is based on interdisciplinary teaching. It brings traditionally separated, non-related subjects together so that students gain flexibility to approach various themes from different perspectives. It combines cognitive, logical, visual, linguistic and aural stimuli as well as emotional, social and physical interactions to create profound understanding.

EUREKA also works with the childrens' existing world knowledge. It offers expansion, it stimulates learning through natural curiosity, addresses various learning channels so that different types of learners can tap into their full potential.

Structure of the Day

EUREKA supports children (9-12yrs):

if they wish to:

  1. explore a learning experience which inspires, challenges and transforms
  2. gain responsibility for and independence in their own learning progress
  3. learn how to stay focused
  4. participate in guided teamwork and share their 'wizardry'

The team of learners is not organised by age but rather by skills, ability and maturity. However, confident age group-related literacy and numeracy skills are a pre-requisite.

EUREKA believes that children in multi-age groups have increased social and emotional understanding, engage in both collaborative and independent learning with greater ease, and have more positive peer interactions than their counterparts in mono-age groups.
